Mari Grinde Arntzen (b. 1970) is a Norwegian author and journalist, known for her work on fashion and visual culture.

«Dress Code. The Naked Truth About Fashion» is published in English, Russian and Norwegian, and was nominated for best non-fiction book in Russia. She is also the author of «Perfekt. Skapelsen av det plettfrie mennesket», a book about our need to be perfect and how perfection can be destructive.

Arntzen is an experienced journalist, writing for newspapers and magazines like Aftenposten and D2 (Dagens Næringsliv). She is a lecturer on trends, semiotics and fashion history, and has worked in communications at the National Museum in Oslo and the architecture and design firm Snøhetta.
